Many friends ask me, what kind of personality do you have? I said, impatient. They all don't believe it. How can you be impatient? You seem so calm when you write. I entered the crypto space in September 2020, and because of my impatience, I rushed in and was misled by friends into buying at the top. By around November 2020, my total funds had been halved, and mind you, that was during a bull market. After I figured things out, I slowly started to improve, but I still encountered cover three times, almost going to zero, and kp3r was buried by my friend, nearly leading to bankruptcy. During the NFT phase, I initially had a floating profit of 1 million, but in the end, a small image worth almost 2 million lay in my wallet address and went to zero. In the inscription phase, I recklessly invested in countless shitcoins on ordinals that went to zero, many of which I initially had high hopes for. They all had angles, had "communities," and had "friends" saying they were good. Some I even discussed on Twitter, but in the end, they all went to zero. During the Solana meme phase, I recklessly bought countless tokens. Before I understood the game, I had put about 300,000 dollars on the chain and lost 200,000 dollars, including act, where I also bought in for over 20 million, all the way down. That's how it is on-chain. Whether it's not understanding the game, being FOMO'd by friends, getting rug pulled, or being self-deluded into believing some narratives, you will lose. Most of the pitfalls either happened when I had no influence, and when they went to zero, no one cared, or when I had influence, I filtered them out. It's precisely because of my impatient personality, not being a born trader, that I reflect on my pain time and again, hoping to think deeply/think through/understand clearly, and then align my actions and personality with my understanding. As long as you play on-chain, play crypto, most of it is a pitfall, and I am no exception. For most of the past five years, I have been losing, but I figured out the rules, and many later achieved that real big result. A friend's advice to me: Either ignore others' opinions and continue to express all viewpoints, it doesn't matter if I'm wrong; or filter out all the first segment, only mention the second segment, and only build positions slowly after observing for a long time. I choose the latter. My history of losing money is a true growth story of a crypto trader, not so much about always winning, but about struggling to learn a little bit and move forward.
